About the Book
I wrote this book with families like yours in mind. Jesus Made You Just Right was born out of words my husband Greg often spoke over our children as they grew: “Jesus made you just right.”
This simple truth carries a message we all need. Young and old alike: no matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or what has been done to you, you were created on purpose, just as Jesus desired. He doesn’t make mistakes.
My prayer is that as parents read this book with their children, they’ll be reminded that we don’t need to change who we are to be accepted by God—or by each other. Out of that knowledge, we can live more freely and love more deeply, in response to the love He first gave us.
Interactive Idea: As you read with your child, try this: you say, “Jesus made you…” and invite them to shout back, “JUST RIGHT!!” It’s a joyful way to plant this truth deep in their hearts.
